Like Acer’s other Vero products, the design of these two laptops features a significant amount of recycled plastics which are durable, yet environmentally friendly. Specifically, OceanGlass trackpads are made from ocean-related (OB) plastic, while 30% of the overall chassis is made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. The display bezels also use 30% PCR plastic, while the keys use 50% PCR plastic. Laptops have also been designed with repairs and upgrades in mind, as users can easily access the insides of the devices by removing the simple screws located on the bottom cover of the devices. Additionally, in terms of physical ports, you get a Thunderbolt 4 slot as well as dual USB-A, which is great for peripheral connectivity.
